Welcome to the Maine Scuba Network! My name is John, and I'm a scuba diver from Maine. I first began scuba diving over 20 years ago, and I am both a PADI and a NASE Certified Open Water Diver. After taking time off when my children were little, I have recently rekindled my love for the sport. My particular passion and interest is wreck diving. I put together this website because I wanted to gather together as much information as I could about scuba diving here in the the great state of Maine. We have hundreds of miles of coastline, and thousands of lakes to explore. So let's get wet!

I recently completed my PADI Advanced Open Water certification course at the Maine Divers Scuba Center in Portland, Maine and I am now an Advanced Open Water diver.
